Overview
The Sumec Firman SPG3000 is a compact petrol generator built to keep essential appliances running when grid power fails. With a rated output of 2.5kVA (and short surge capacity), it suits refrigerators, lights, fans, TVs, small shop equipment and basic office loads.
Designed with a 196cc single-cylinder air-cooled OHV engine and a recoil (manual) start, this unit balances fuel economy and portability. It includes features commonly found on Sumec Firman machines such as Automatic Voltage Regulation and TCI ignition to help stabilise voltage for your gadgets.
At about 15 litres fuel capacity it offers long run times at partial load, and its noise level is specified so you can plan placement to minimise disturbance to neighbours.

Does it run on petrol?
Yes — regular PMS (petrol) from any filling station. Always use clean fuel and fresh engine oil; we explain the oil type and running-in on delivery.
How do I start it?
With the recoil (pull) starter. It is simple and has no battery to maintain; we show you the correct choke and start procedure on delivery.
Is it loud?
Open-frame portable generators are noticeably louder than soundproof sets. Place it outdoors, at least 5 metres from doors and windows, never inside the house or a closed garage.
