The Sumec Firman SPG2900 is a portable petrol generator designed for everyday backup power. Its single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and recoil start make it simple to operate and maintain.
With a rated output of 2.0kVA (2.2kVA maximum) and built-in voltage regulation, it suits essential home and small commercial loads such as lights, fans, TV, fridge, small freezers, laptops and POS devices. The unit also offers a 12V DC output for battery charging.
Its fuel tank and construction are sized for regular use while remaining portable enough to move where needed on site, in a shop or around the house.

Does it run on petrol?
Yes — regular PMS (petrol) from any filling station. Always use clean fuel and fresh engine oil; we explain the oil type and running-in on delivery.
How do I start it?
With the recoil (pull) starter. It is simple and has no battery to maintain; we show you the correct choke and start procedure on delivery.
Is it loud?
Open-frame portable generators are noticeably louder than soundproof sets. Place it outdoors, at least 5 metres from doors and windows, never inside the house or a closed garage.
Is it brand-new and genuine?
Yes. Every Sumec Firman unit we sell is new, in the original manufacturer's box, with its manual and accessories.
What does the warranty cover?

Usually 1–2 working days in Lagos and 2–4 working days to Abuja and Port Harcourt; other states on request. We call or WhatsApp you before the driver sets out.
