Overview
The Sumec Firman ECO8990ESR is a 6.7kVA (6.1kW) petrol-powered portable generator built to keep essential loads running when the grid is down. It features a 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled OHV engine and a brush, self-exciting synchronous alternator with AVR for voltage regulation.
With a 28.5L fuel tank and long run times at partial load, this unit is suitable for powering fridges, freezers, lights, fans, TVs, laptops, POS systems and small shop equipment. The generator comes with a remote control and mobility aids (handle and wheels) to make positioning and use easier.

Open-frame portable generators are noticeably louder than soundproof sets. Place it outdoors, at least 5 metres from doors and windows, never inside the house or a closed garage.
