The Sumec Firman ECO5990ES is a portable petrol generator rated at 3.5kVA with both electric (key) and recoil start. It uses a 4-stroke single-cylinder SFE270E engine and a brush, self-exciting synchronous alternator wound with copper enamelled wire for steady output.

Designed for Nigerian conditions, it arrives on a steel tube frame with a fold-down handle and wheels for easier movement around the house, shop or site. The unit includes a semi-silent muffler and noise eliminator to reduce disturbance during operation.

Fuel capacity and build are sized for extended runs: a 28.5 L fuel tank and a robust steel fuel tank construction help keep you running through long outages. At 68 dB measured at 7 metres it balances power and acceptable noise for residential and light commercial use.
