Overview
The Sumec Firman ECO2990S is a single-phase, portable petrol generator designed to cover essential loads during NEPA/PHCN outages or on small work sites. Its SFE160 engine and brush-type alternator with enamelled copper winding give dependable power for lights, fans, fridges, TVs, small pumps and workshop tools within its output range.
With a 15 L fuel tank and air-cooled 4-stroke engine, the unit balances runtime and portability. Recoil start and a 48 kg weight keep the design simple and serviceable; noise at 7 metres is 66 dB, suitable for use where neighbour disturbance must be limited.

With the recoil (pull) starter. It is simple and has no battery to maintain; we show you the correct choke and start procedure on delivery.
Is it loud?
Open-frame portable generators are noticeably louder than soundproof sets. Place it outdoors, at least 5 metres from doors and windows, never inside the house or a closed garage.
