Overview
The Sumec Firman ECO2990 is a 2.2kVA (2200VA) petrol-powered portable generator built for steady, everyday backup power. It delivers a rated AC output of 2000W with a 2200W surge capacity, making it a good fit for essential household appliances and small commercial loads.
Its air-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder OHV engine produces 5.5HP and uses unleaded gasoline. It includes both recoil and electric start options and an AVR for voltage regulation to help protect sensitive electronics.
With a 15L fuel tank and fuel economy figures that give about 12 hours at 75% load (and about 15 hours at 50% load), this unit is designed to keep lights, fans, a fridge and basic shop or office devices running through long outages without constant refuelling.
