Overview

The FG Wilson SPGP16 is a compact soundproof diesel generator rated 14.5 kVA (11.6 kW) at 50 Hz prime duty. It uses a Perkins 403A-15G2 engine designed for continuous operation and fuel-optimised running.

This set delivers stable 220–240 Volt output at 1500 RPM and can take a 10% overload for up to one hour in a 12-hour period under the 50 Hz prime rating. The soundproof canopy reduces running noise compared with open sets, making it appropriate for residential and commercial locations.

The Perkins engine features a mechanical governor, 1.5 litre displacement and robust compression for dependable starts and long service life. Fuel consumption figures are provided by the manufacturer at standard reference conditions with diesel meeting BS2869:1998 Class A2.
